Homesteaders’ Surplus Swap and Social
Hey everyone! We’re excited to announce that on Sunday, December 4th we’ll be holding a quarterly Homesteader’s Surplus Swap and Social at Bluebird Hill Homestead in West Knox County.
10:00 am until 5:00 pm.
Everyone is welcome to bring their goods and services for swapping/bartering as they wish. This includes home and garden products, tools and parts – as well as your knowledge and skills!
We’re holding these swaps in order to connect homesteaders across multiple forums for face to face interaction and relationship building.
We’ve got a 10×20 event tent to provide cover from the elements. It’s always a good idea to bring a camp chair.
We will provide some seasonal, non alcoholic drinks and a warm fire. You are welcome to BYOB.
Please, no dogs or small children as we’re a working homestead with tools and animals on the
As your hosts, we request a $10 donation and/or a good or service of similar value.
If you’re traveling and wish to camp overnight, we have HipCamp sites available for reservation at this link: https://www.hipcamp.com/en-US/tennessee/bluebird-hill-homestead/cedar-grove
Important: If you wish to attend or have questions, please email Kerry at firstname.lastname@example.org. Address and directions will only be provided to those who RSVP.
Thanks and we’re looking forward to seeing you!
